There is a nanoindentation machine called Nanotest 600 Platform 3. Possibly you made a lot of measurements using it and then decided to sum them into a table. And here is the problem: it is supposed that you need to collect results from each file by you own. Open the experiment file, export to text, close, open the next file, and next one, and next… Is there a chance that you can get all the nanoindentation results in a quicker and more convenient way?

Now “yes!” becomes the answer! NTP3 Analysis Export app will help you get a summary table with either tens or hundreds of experiments, in few seconds!

This program generates table or spreadsheet (CSV, Excel) with results of large number of nanoindentation series. The table contains such characteristics as Young’s modulus, reduced modulus, indentation hardness and so on.

To export data with indentation results you need just to select the data folder and click “Export” button”. No need in original software. You may export data from all the files or just selected ones.

Other useful features include:

  • Export averaged results. It is possible to export analysis results either for each individual indentation curve or averaged by series. Standard deviation can be exported for most of parameters.
  • Select data columns to export. You can select which data you need and arrange columns order in the export file.

  • Rename series data files. Each indentation series data is distributed between a bunch of files (5 or more) with different extensions. If you want to replace the series title, you need to rename each file manually. But now you with NTP3 Analysis Export app you can do it in few clicks.

  • Store additional data fields. NTP3 Analysis Export app allows you to store supplementary information about the experiment, like sample name, operator name or order number. Moreover, you can export this information to table along the analysis results. This feature can be used for accounting purposes (i.e. generating reports on scientific equipment usage).

The application is made using Visual C#. On computers with Windows XP you will need .NET Framework 3.5 to launch it. You can write suggestions on the further development of this app to comments section

Known limitations:

  • Only single cycle indentations can be handled at this moment.
